Here at The Frog on The Dog pizza company we have a passion and love for the real deal authentic Italian pizza. We have been cooking wood-fired pizzas for many years and know our stuff. We think cooking on a real wood fire is awesome, it looks cool and most importantly it makes the pizzas taste better. Slow risen dough made with 'OO' Italian flour, Fior de latee mozzarella and Neopolitan tomatoes. Added with the best Suffolk and Italian produce is a winning combination a truly great pizza and a real talking point of difference. Great fire-wood creates a better pizza this is down to higher burning temperatures. We use barn dried and ethically sourced Suffolk fire wood sourced locally from 'Tree Frog Tree Services' .

horse box trailer
A converted vintage horse box trailer with a wood-fired oven. This is a real talking point at any wedding or event and will definitely wow your guests. We are based between Woodbridge and Ipswich in Suffolk and will bring our converted horse box oven to your event. It has a fully fitted kitchen and everything we need to cook 80 pizzas in an hour from the trailer. All we need is some fairly flat ground and 4.2 x 3 meters for our pitch.
We do everything properly with our pizzas at 'The Frog On The Dog' wood-fired pizzas. Our oven reaches over 400c in and cooks a pizza in under 90 seconds. This gives our thin based pizzas a puffy crispy yet chewy crust and true Neapolitan taste.

We can bring our trailer to your wedding, event or party. We use true Italian ingredients. WE can tailor our wood-fired pizza menu for your event to suit all of your guests - vegan, gluten intolerant, dairy free etc.
